We are seeking a full-time Graduate Business Support Consultant with excellent business analytical skills to support our leadership and management teams.  Working closely with the Managing Director, directors and within the business support team, the successful candidate will support the understanding, analysis and improvement of business performance. 

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the internal business consultant team, company’s directors and team leaders to critically evaluate the company’s performance and identify any issues or areas for improvement, as well as engage in innovative strategic projects.
This role will be diverse and will cover areas of the business such as business strategy, business development, business analysis, market research and corporate reporting. The duties and responsibilities will evolve with the business over time and will include:
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with company directors and team leaders on business analysis and strategy activities, including quarterly strategy reviews and updates, as well as the annual market potential analysis process that informs company strategy planning.
  • Assist with financial analysis, regular reporting of business performance, on-demand reporting for revenue predictions, sales analysis, and company monthly updates.
  • Supporting the client relations team with key customer relationship activities, including overseeing the entire client satisfaction survey process—from data collection, analysis to identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conducting on-demand market research to identify key trends and opportunities for opportunities of business expansion into new countries and sectors.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and the internal business consultant team on company process improvements, such as managing the internal intranet and tools, reporting sustainability initiatives, implementing targeted solutions for enhanced operational performance and overall business efficiency
  • Coordinating client-facing business research summer projects in partnership with the University of Manchester Business School.
  • Providing support to other departments (e.g., corporate marketing team, human resources, IT, client relations team) when required with business analysis tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduate with 2:1 or higher from a top university in a relevant subject, such as but not limited to: Business, Economics, Management, Project Management, (Business related educational background or relevant experience will be considered for the right candidate)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
