HAZOP/PHA Facilitator – Calgary, Canada
Risktec currently has a vacancy for a Risk and Safety/ HAZOP, PHA and/or HAZID Consultant experienced in risk and safety studies for oil, gas and chemical facilities.

Risktec has a number of vacancies across the company and in particular we are looking for an experienced oil, gas and chemical Risk and Safety/ HAZOP, PHA and/or HAZID Consultant to be based in our Calgary Office but with extensive travel. The successful candidate will be part of an energetic, driven, expanding team, and will be expected to manage multiple projects in a supportive, progressive environment.
 
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in some or all of the following:

• facilitating hazard identification workshops such as HAZOP, PHA and/or HAZID
• bowtie analysis
• demonstrating ALARP
• identifying engineered performance requirements
• SIL, LOPA and RAM studies
• physical effects modelling and QRA
• fire and gas mapping
• safety case development
• project planning and management
• preparing / co-ordinating bids
• delivering training

Permanent positions would be based in our Calgary Office. The role would involve a lot of travel to world-wide locations to meet project requirements.

This role will be a permanent position, but Associate positions would also be considered on the basis of an agreement setting out initial terms and then call-off orders with agreed rates for specific assignments.
